We are looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst to join our Ottobock Team in Austin! (hybrid work schedule) Potential for remote.
The HRIS Analyst partners with HR process and program owners to define, design, and enhance HR technologies. This role is hands-on and supports all Human Resources functions, including HR, payroll, compensation, benefits, recruiting, talent management, and learning. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of HR systems, optimizing system functionality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS and related systems, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users, including training and the development of procedures and guides.
- Manages permissions, access, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users, including HR admins and employee end users.
- Compiles and analyzes complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
- Serves as the lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Collaborates with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to optimize system functionality and meet business needs.
- Provides support for various HRIS functional areas, such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Benefits, Absence, Compensation, and Recruitment.
- Performs administrative functions, including security maintenance, business process configuration, data loads, integrations, and system upgrades.
- Develops and maintains HRIS documentation, including system configuration and end-user training materials.
- Troubleshoots system issues, implements/configures resolutions that meet user requirements.
- Responsible for identification, assessment and resolution of complex issues or system configurations; testing and auditing business processes, data integrity and application integration.
- Assists in the maintenance and enhancement of system modules and functionality, including modification of business processes and workflow configurations (start to finish).
- Collaborates with HR teams to develop workforce metrics and dashboards.
- Develops, generates, and analyzes system reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Conducts system testing and audits business processes, data integrity, and application integrations.
- Educates internal teams on new system functionality and leads the development of training and educational materials, including reference guides and job aids.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or Technology. (Directly related experience may substitute for education).
- Three years of experience in any Human Resources discipline.
- Two years of experience managing HRIS platforms; ADP and SAP SuccessFactors experience required.
- SAP ERP certification in Report Writing (Storybook) considered an asset.
- Knowledge of general HR principles and processes.
- Knowledge and experience with HRIS platforms of ADP & SAP
- Knowledge and experience with HRIS and system integrations.
- Skilled in time management, handling multiple tasks, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to solve non-complex software development problems.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly developed analytical skills, strong technical aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Solution-oriented mindset with excellent customer service skills.
- Experience designing reports, analyzing data, and developing dashboards.
