Strategic Sourcer Patient Care Procurement (d/f/m)

Summary Statement

We have already finalized the concept phase and are currently building out the MVP together with selected pilot markets prior to broader roll-out. You report to the Head of Patient Care Procurement.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute procurement strategies and cost optimization projects
  • Develop and implement a global category management, manage global supplier relationships and the supplier portfolio in the long term
  • Conduct global procurement market analyses and drive savings initiatives for direct and indirect materials
  • Support in development, optimization and implementation of purchasing processes, methods and tools
  • Prepare and execute tenders and global bid comparisons


  • Engineering or business undergraduate studies required, masters preferred in addition to well-founded professional experience with 3 years or more in strategic procurement
  • Experience in medical technology, health care or fabrication supplies preferred
  • Business fluent in English, written and spoken, preferably very good language skills in German
  • Systematic, analytical thinking, target-oriented personality, good communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel/ Powerpoint)
