In order to achieve this mission, we have created a brand-new start-up on our campus in Berlin —aiming to develop a digital and innovative service offering for key stakeholders within the Orthotics and Prosthetics industry.

Duties & Responsibilities


This role is focused on shepherding many IT/software projects from inception to launch. Projects consist of developing ecommerce platform with webshops and integrations between internal and external systems to digitize business processes. 

  • Work with stakeholders to analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards for the projects
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and for team members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Host technical project meetings with clients to keep them up to date on milestones and overall project status and hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Push hard to keep our plans on time, budget, and scope. Communicate clearly and frequently when we are at risk of deviating, hold us accountable and push us to excel
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing and validation for completed projects prior to final sign-off
  • Facilitate communication with leadership and other key strategy stakeholders, including regular reports and strategy progress meetings including documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Develop, promote, and maintain standards and tools for project management, with the goal of maximizing project throughput and quality



  • 3+ years practical experience managing software projects
  • Technophile – example: ability to analyze xml idoc schema
  • Experience with webshops and EDI interfaces highly valued

Our Tech Environment:  

This is just for your understanding of the tools we use. We do not expect you to know and understand all of them  

  • Frontend: Vue.js and Typescript 
  • Backend: Java/Spring Boot/JPA and Typescript (although moving to Java). ElasticSearch, MariaDB 
  • ERP: S/4 HANA 
  • Operations: Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

In addition, we take active steps to keep our tech clean and remove deprecated parts from our systems. We use Kanban as agile methodology.
