At Ottobock, we are shaping the future of digital patient engagement in healthcare. As a Working Student Community Manager, you will support the growth, activation and day-to-day engagement of Movao - our global patient community. You will work closely with Community Managers, Marketing and CX specialists, ambassadors, patients, and external partners to create meaningful community experiences that build trust and help members connect and thrive. 

 

This role offers hands-on experience in community building, patient engagement, content creation, customer experience, analytics, and international marketing within a leading Med-Tech company.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Create, publish, and maintain engaging community content, discussions, and member-facing updates
  • Help onboard new members and contribute to a welcoming, credible, and inclusive community experience
  • Support virtual community formats such as Circle Talks, webinars, patient meetups, and expert sessions
  • Monitor community interactions, identify engagement opportunities, and gather member feedback
  • Collaborate with community ambassadors, patient advocates, internal stakeholders, and external partners across markets
  • Create presentations, community assets, infographics, visuals, and simple graphics for internal and external communication
  • Support newsletters, member communications, playbooks, promotional materials, and short-form video content
  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses related to patient communities, neuromobility, digital engagement, and healthcare communication
  • Analyze community KPIs, member feedback, and engagement data, translating insights into recommendations and stakeholder reports

Qualifications

 

  • Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Digital Media, Health Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Neuroscience or a comparable field
  • Strong interest in community building, digital engagement, customer experience, and healthcare-related communication
  • First experience in Microsoft Office,  data analysis, presentation design and simple visualization is a plus
  • First experience in community management, content creation, communication, marketing or project coordination is beneficial
  • Experience with creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools is an advantage 
  • Structured, proactive and able to manage several tasks and projects in parallel
  • Curious, empathetic, collaborative and comfortable working with sensitive patient-related topics in a respectful and trustworthy way
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are mandatory, as Movao is an international community with members from different countries and cultures
