Summary Statement

The Advanced Analytics & Data Insights team within Global IT is the central data and analytics partner for Ottobock’s global business.

As an AI Portfolio Manager (d/f/m), You are part of the Advanced Analytics & Data Insights team and report directly to the Head of Data & Analytics. You are responsible for managing the entire AI use case portfolio across all business areas – regardless of whether solutions are developed internally or acquired as standard solutions – and You work closely with IT Demand Management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take over and qualitatively assess AI demands from central IT Demand Management

  • Build and maintain an AI use case register including status, value, effort, risks and ownership

  • Prepare prioritization proposals and decision documents for AI steering committees as well as management and board meetings

  • Manage the AI portfolio in close collaboration with Data & Analytics, application owners (e.g. Salesforce, SAP), infrastructure and modern workplace stakeholders, as well as external partners*

  • Support “make or buy” decisions for new AI solutions

  • Further develop and manage the existing AI governance model (including compliance standards, tracking, etc.)

  • Build and maintain an AI champion network within the business functions

  • Develop lean standards and templates for AI use cases (e.g. business cases, risk and compliance checks) and create reports and regular updates on the AI portfolio

Qualifications

  • Strong interest and enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and data, combined with a realistic view of opportunities and risks

  • Completed degree in business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable field

  • Several years of experience in IT project, program or portfolio management, ideally with a focus on data, analytics or AI

  • Solid understanding of data and IT landscapes (e.g. cloud platforms, standard applications such as Salesforce/SAP, custom solutions)

  • Confidence in working with diverse stakeholders* (IT Demand Management, business functions, application owners, management) and in preparing decision-making materials for senior management

  • Analytical and structured working style, high level of ownership, and very strong communication and facilitation skills in English and German
