Business Process Engineer - Finance (d/f/m)

Purpose of Job

The Business Process Management (BPM) department at Ottobock pursues the goal of driving the global harmonization of digital end-to-end processes. This is intended to reduce complexity while improving the maturity of our dynamically growing organization. As a Business Process Engineer (d/w/m) with a focus on Finance, you will promote close collaboration with IT and act as a link between Business Process Owner (BPO), stakeholders in Finance and the IT Business Partners. In this way, you actively shape the business processes in the finance environment.

Tasks

• You lead business process re/engineering projects in the field of finance
• You will work closely with vp's Accounting, Controlling, Treasury and Tax, as well as their direct reports, in order to
  • record /coordinate the requirements
  • develop the solution design and
  • be responsible for their implementation
• You advise the VP's by identifying and presenting potential for improvement and implementing appropriate measures to implement them sustainably
• They develop process standards in the international finance environment and accompany the local units in their result-oriented implementation. In doing so, you already consider the systemic mapping of the processes in the solution design
• You will actively help to shape the target image of a shared service organization from a business process perspective and will be actively involved in its implementation
• You support the department in the creation of process documentation in our process application AENEIS

Profile

• Ideally completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration or a comparable education
• 3 – 5 years of professional experience in project management in an international environment and in process modeling
• Professional experience in the field of finance desirable
• Knowledge of business process modeling (techniques and tools) as well as ERP, consolidation and BI systems
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills 
• Analytical thinking as well as independent and result-oriented way of working
