Summary Statement

In the role of Group Accounting Specialist (d/f/m), you ensure the proper preparation of consolidated financial statements and other reports in accordance with IFRS. You play a key role in the further development of our processes in group accounting as well as in the monthly financial statement preparation for our subsidiaries.
 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS  
  • Advising and providing professional support to subsidiaries on accounting issues  
  • Implementation and monitoring of uniform accounting and group policies  
  • Taking responsibility for IFRS technical topics  
  • Analysis and ensuring the application of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 15, in our financial and reporting processes  
  • Analysis, optimization, and standardization of the monthly financial closing processes for subsidiaries  
  • Continuous development, improvement, and harmonization of other processes within group accounting  
  • Collaboration with auditors and other stakeholders  
     

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree (Diploma or Master's) in Business Administration or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in group accounting, ideally in an international company or in auditing  
  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers  
  • Ideally, initial experience with SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA, as well as knowledge of a consolidation software (e.g., SAP SEM BCS)  
  • Strong communication skills in English and German, along with persuasiveness in collaborating with various stakeholders
