Summary Statement

 

Ottobock Patient Care IT is part of Global IT and sees itself as a central partner of our Ottobock Clinical Services Network. There, we offer customized orthopaedic treatment and rehabilitation solutions for users around the world in over 400 Patient Care centers. In the Patient Care IT team, you will advise our internal customers and together with your colleagues, shape the further development of our industry solution consisting of SAP Business One and an add-on developed in-house.

 

The position can also be filled remotely within Germany.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • You oversee nationwide SAP Business One rollout projects in our Ottobock Patient Care centers and ensure collaboration with specialist colleagues and external service providers
  • You develop standard processes by analyzing and describing existing processes and applications. In addition, you support the implementation, change management and documentation of projects 
  • You act as a contact person and consultant for key users and the specialist department
  • Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for third-level support
  • You consolidate and evaluate change requests and coordinate them with our colleagues from Business Process Management and SAP Business One Development up to the solution design stage
  • A collaborative and agile working environment is a matter of course for you

Profile

 

  • You have a successfully completed degree in a technical or scientific field or a completed apprenticeship in the IT environment
  • You have relevant experience in planning, documenting and designing software applications and in managing projects
  • You have experience in handling and consulting an ERP system, ideally SAP Business One and SQL knowledge
  • You are willing to travel (20-30%) to consult our customers on site
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English (at least C1 level)
