Summary Statement

 

In the Software & Electronic Engineering department, we develop new concepts for software and hardware solutions in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. As an intern or working student (d/f/m), you have the chance to support our team at the Duderstadt site near Göttingen and to work on diverse projects in medical technology that combine hardware and software. We will give you the necessary freedom for creativity and your innovative ideas.

Writing a subsequent thesis with us is generally possible.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Analysis and research of current technologies
  • Generation of ideas for new products including feasibility testing
  • Conceptual design, architecture and development of innovative software and hardware solutions in the medical technology environment
  • (Further) Development of first prototypes
  • Some example projects:
    • Machine learning for the control of prostheses
    • Augmented reality in the medical technology environment
    • Automation of testing solutions
    • Development of new electronic solutions for the control of mechatronic products.

Profile

 

  • Current studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, medical engineering or a comparable course of studies
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C# or Python
  • Interest in varied projects in medical technology that combine hardware and software or in modern software testing
  • Ideally first experiences in the field of machine learning
