Summary Statement

 

In the Software & Electronic Engineering department, we develop new concepts for software and hardware solutions in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. As an intern (d/f/m), you have the chance to support our team at the Duderstadt site near Göttingen and to work on diverse projects in medical technology that combine hardware and software. We will give you the necessary freedom for creativity and your innovative ideas.

Writing a subsequent thesis with us is generally possible.

Please let us know how long and when you can start with us and whether it is a mandatory internship. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analysis and research of current technologies in the narrowband IoT environment 
  • Conceptualization, architecture and design of innovative software and hardware solutions in the medical technology environment 
  • Development or further development of initial prototypes for circuit boards with NB-IoT modules 
  • Carrying out tests and validations of new IoT applications 

Profile

  • Current studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, medical engineering or a comparable course of studies
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C# or Python
  • Basic knowledge of IoT technologies or comparable low power radio technologies and interest in narrowband IoT  
  • Initial knowledge of programming hardware-related software/embedded software 
  • Interest in varied projects in medical technology that combine hardware and software 
  • Good communication skills in German and English
