Summary Statement
In this role, you will be responsible for all procurement-related activities as a core member in global development projects, right through to final series production. As Procurement Lead in interdisciplinary teams, you will act as an interface to Product Development, Category, Product and Quality Management as well as to the relevant supply chain functions. In this way, you will ensure that all technical and logistical requirements are met and reconcile these with an efficient purchasing strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- You will take over the sub-project management of all procurement-related activities of your assigned development projects
- In this context, you will be responsible for setting up procurement strategies in close cooperation with category management
- You will play a key role in make-or-buy decisions and conduct price negotiations with suppliers
- In addition, you will be responsible for cost monitoring along the product development process
- You will also prepare a risk assessment of all global procurement activities
- Currently you are also carrying out change projects
Profile
- You have a degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
- Ideally, you already have experience in purchasing or in the field of medical technology
- We expect you to be proficient in MS Office - SAP would be desirable
- For the communication with the international interfaces a good knowledge of English and German (B2) is necessary.
- Your profile is rounded off by excellent communication skills, a high level of initiative and a solution-oriented approach to work.
