Purpose of Job

 

Global IT is the central partner of the global Ottobock business - we see ourselves as an enabler and provide the entire portfolio of infrastructure and applications to make the business even more successful. 

Tasks

 

 

  • You will establish the systematic evaluation from an IT perspective for M&A as well as structured company integrations
  • You develop blueprints for IT valuations for M&A and playbooks for IT integrations
  • You are responsible for the execution of IT due diligences in the context of M&A and IT post-merger integrations (PMI)
  • You will work very closely with our Corporate Strategy M&A team and evaluate the IT and IT integration efforts of global acquisition candidates
  • You will be responsible for the implementation of IT integrations of acquired companies (PMI) - thereby reducing risks (especially in the area of information security)
  • In the future you will build and lead your own team

Profile

 

  • You have a degree in economics/computer science, business administration or comparable qualifications
  • You have several years of professional experience in the field of IT integrations with a broad understanding of infrastructure and applications
  • You interact confidently at technical and management level to manage complex discussion and negotiation situations
  • Initial management experience is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, other languages an advantage
  • You bring along a high willingness to travel to integration targets worldwide (especially USA, Western Europe)
