Summary Statement
In this role, you will advise and support our group companies in Germany and abroad on tax matters – with a focus on tax accounting. With us, you not only contribute to the design, but also actively contribute your know-how to our projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participating in the preparation of corporate tax returns for the German Group companies
- Support in tax matters in national tax law
- Support in tax audits for the German Group companies
- Determination of tax items for annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS (IAS 12, IAS 34)
- Handling various challenging tasks in national projects with a focus on tax accounting (deferred and actual taxes)
- Supervision of the reporting system according to § 138 para. 2 AO
- Processing enquiries from group companies abroad concerning tax residence
- Support in the preparation of VAT returns for the German group companies
Qualifications
- Degree in business administration or law with a focus on taxes and several years of professional experience
- Alternatively: Completed training as a tax consultant or accountant with at least 3 years of professional experience in a tax department of a company or a tax consulting firm
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and FI applications (e.g. SAP-FI, DATEV)
- Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Independent and self-responsible way of working
