In the newly established Ottobock Bionic Exoskeletons business unit (, innovative exoskeletons (e.g. Paexo Shoulder and Paexo Back) and other technical solutions have been developed since 2018, which enable people to pursue demanding everyday working life in a health-friendly manner. 

In the role of Team Lead Sales Germany (d/f/m), the focus is on expanding and leading the direct sales team of Bionic Exoskeletons.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • In your role, you will be responsible for the management and employee development of the direct sales team at Ottobock Bionic Exoskeletons
  • You are responsible for the sales management of your team
  • The support of global Key Accounts is one of your main tasks
  • You build customer contacts and lead generation through direct sales of industrial exoskeletons to industrial and logistics customers
  • You introduce new products and test them with our customers
  • You accompany the implementation of the products at our customers
  • You develop customer relationships strategically and maintain them continuously
  • The development of marketing and sales plans is part of your area of ​​responsibility
  • You observe and analyze the customer, market and competitive situation and adjust the sales strategy accordingly
  • You are responsible for sales targeting and forecasting
  • You bring in customer feedback for the development of product solutions



  • You have successfully completed your studies with an engineering, business management or ergonomics background
  • You have relevant professional experience in B2B sales of complex products in international companies or in the areas of industrial engineering, ergonomics, production or operations of logistics or industrial companies
  • Ideally, you already have some management experience or would like to take the next step in leading a sales team with us
  • Your work and management style is characterized by a sense of responsibility, organization and conscientiousness as well as an open, appreciative feedback culture
  • You are empathetic, can respond individually to colleagues and employees, listen actively and grasp problems quickly and in a solution-oriented manner
  • You have excellent communication skills and are convincing on social media
  • You are characterized by personal responsibility, flexibility and commitment, are willing to travel within Germany and other European countries
  • You speak the German language just as fluently as the English language
