Summary Statement
The goal of the Materials Engineering & Simulation department is to optimize our products in terms of durability and functionality with the help of simulations. This optimization should take place in an early stage during the conception and then in all subsequent phases of a product development and the following product life cycle. With your support, the possibilities of CFD simulation should be evaluated, the usage established and thus an important basis for function and system simulations should be laid.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Simulation of the behaviour of fluids with or without interaction with solids in prosthetics and orthotics
- Evaluating the possibilities of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation in parallel with the project business
- The simulation possibilities can also been extended to function and system simulation in ANSYS Workbench
Profile
- Master's study in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar with a focus on fluid mechanics
- Completed Bachelor's degree with the same focus as above
- Experience in the use of a CFD tool ideally Ansys fluent
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Self-employed working methods
