The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for executing and ensuring the accuracy of the cycle count program, will help identify FIFO (First In, First Out) opportunities and audit the accuracy of our product labeling and overstock processes, and will be the key point of contact for inventory audits.

THIS IS A TEMP TO HIRE POSITION. 

  • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:30am to 3pm
  • Hourly rate: $20-23 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately cross-references materials information, units of measure, and MRP settings to identify and resolve inventory control issues.

  • Analyze and effectively maintain MRP settings for supply areas.

  • Accurately analyze materials requisitions and process open requisitions in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to the planning, executing, and implementing of plant physical inventory and other inventory projects as required.

  • Accountable for storage locations cycle count program.

  • Analyze incorrect inventory values to solve future inventory issues (BOM, movement ticket, etc.).

  • Accurately prepares month-end inventory reports for Plant Manager

  • Back-up to Logistics Coordinator.

  • Resolve all shipping/receiving errors and work with these departments to correct and train on errors.

  • Main point of contact for all SAP inventory issues.

  • Performs duties as a floater in supporting different areas in the department such as shipping, receiving and material handling.   

  • Works under moderate supervision.

  • Ensures compliance to safety, quality, and schedule

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.

  • 1-3 years of experience working in inventory control.

  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.

  • Organizational and time management skills.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or move products.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain processes and procedures.
