Summary Statement
Ability Ottobock.care has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager in the York, PA area. Working closely with the Market Development Manager, the Business Development Manager will help establish daily and larger-scale marketing initiatives geared towards maintaining existing relationships with large and small provider groups and also establishing new relationships with groups who don’t currently utilize the Company for services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and implement sales and marketing plans to meet company growth objectives for assigned region.
- Attend meetings with and give sales presentations to current and potential clients.
- Manage the sales process and establish relationships with clients in assigned region.
- Research, solicit, engage new contractual relationships with insurance companies, health plans, hospital systems, medical groups, IPA’s, MSO’s and similar entities in assigned region.
- Facilitate negotiation of existing contracts for better terms, decreased cost to Company, or increased profit. May maintain existing contracts including updates of addresses or re-credentialing requests.
- Research, solicit, engage and acquire new contractual relationships with referral entities, such as physicians, physician groups, therapists and similar.
- Assist Director of Market Development with maintenance and improvement of Company’s brand awareness and public image, through direction and development of marketing platforms, marketing materials and distribution, online presence including social media and similar.
- Provide training and guidance to clinical and administrative staff on Company’s growth objectives, relationship building and marketing strategies.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required. BA in relative field preferred.
- 5+ Years Experience in O&P Industry in a Management Role.
- Familiarity with Major Brands, Services and Products in the O&P Industry.
- Computer and Typing Proficiency.
- Professional Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
