Summary Statement

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Lead evaluation, design, analysis and implement of solutions across a group of specific infrastructure applications or technologies based on enterprise standards
  • Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise solution portfolio from current to future state
  • Enable excellent customer experience by identifying GAPs in operational / project activities and recommend solutions for improvement (reduce inefficiencies in IT processes & tools)
  • Work closely with product & service owners / the program management office (PMO) to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised by the project or product lifecycle
  • Act as a consultant to our stakeholder on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings and drive targeted IT business outcomes
  • Support communities of practice (CoP), guiding and helping (agile) teams, service and product owners to align with the overall enterprise (architecture) governance and strategy
  • Work independently on international migration and lifecycle projects

Profile

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
  • Knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security 
  • Knowledge of financial models and budgeting
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Ability to work with developers in an outsourced environment
  • Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
  • Pragmatic Approach to Problem Solving, Adaptability, Big-Picture Thinking, Comfort with Ambiguity, Cross-Domain Collaboration, Interdependency Management
  • Excellent written and communication skills in German and English as well as the required flexibility and mobility
